But it might prove useful:

This nvramrc trickery now has the machine booting fine via console (framebuffer
and keyboard attachment still do not work):

eeprom nvramrc='
probe-all
install-console
banner
boot'

eeprom use-nvramrc?=true

You still see the the TOD error as below, but machine is now useable remotely
if needs be :)
